I've been quite busy these last two weeks..Having some fun with my visiting daughter and.trying to operate a new computer that is totally different than what I've been used to! and that saying " you can't teach old dogs new tricks" is not acceptable  it just takes them a little longer...I haven't been able to play with any of my other new toys ;o( but just think of all the fun I'm going to have :o)...
I want to send some pictures, but I don't think I have the software connected quite right yet! ugh!...I'll get it right soon...Maybe I'll post tomorrow....Ginny

The Gingerbread House said...
HELLO !! I'm so glad I was able to find you (or myself)again...this computer is a whole new ball game.
I just kept hitting keys until I was able to get here...
I have installed my External drive with all the email addresses (and now I can't find or connect to it :o) talk about feeling like a dummy :o(
Any way besides the frustration, I'm having a ball with one of the kids that's home..and enjoying some of the foods you have seen me cook on this blog..
I'm going to sit in one of the instruction classes that Apple gives...that should help...When I make a mistake in spelling the text automatically turns red..thats neat O
Will blog again if I don't get lost :o) Ginny

Today is my Birthday...and I am celebrating my 39th Birthday for the 41st time :o)
So far it's been a wonderful celebration...as I've said before..and shall repeat as long as some one listens ..."I have the greatest kids in the world"...:o) I won't say which one gave me what...(not that they had to do it , but I'm glad they did) During the week I will be busy installing my new "21" iMac computer :o) one of my gifts and maybe next week I'll be busy cooking with a new "Food Processor" :o)and whatever else comes as an expression of love :o)...
Cecil fixed me Breakfast this morning...my favorite bacon :o) (shut up ladydi) a fried egg and some cheese biscuits (that I already prepared and froze for convienents)...and yes! I had a nice cold "Zero" (only one a day)
So be patient waiting until you hear from me again...on my new computer :o)

"Happy Mother's Day"

The flowers are awakening to Springs warm call!, and we are enjoying the yard so much these days...Everything looks great...and so nice to see the new ones looking so healthy.
None of the kids were able to surprise me with a visit, but they sent their "Lushious" wishes :o)..in cards for the time :o)..I finally got them to stop sending me flowers in May...my yard is full of them..I made this bouquet for the house...
Here's wishing you all a wonderful and blessed "Happy Mothers Day"..

My first Bouquet of this season :o)

We are very happy that we are well enough this year to enjoy some of the
bounty (Harvest) that we planted while living here in NC.
Last year our ornamental Pear trees looked a little sickly...we fed them some food and this year they are looking well, the leaves are shiny as they should be...and look as if somebody loves them .
All the baby buds from the Blue Hydrangeas I clipped last year ..lived thru the winter and look very strong...now to where to plant them for their  permanent home spot!
I was pleased to see the Peonies starting to bloom...I only have one Red one...the rest are shades of Pink..It has taken about nine years for the White Iris to finally developed more than one flower..now she is a nice healthy clump!
