This is one of my favorite iron pans, I've made French fries in it for years, when my children were young....(and me too :o)....it is well seasoned and gives such a good flavor....the fries tasted as good as they look....
Mmmm, those fries look delicious. I'm so glad your son was able to visit, bringing such tasty things with him, AND willing and able to install a light. "Your" son did good!
Deborah, nothing cooks as good as cast iron pans, I have to get Cecil to help me lift them sometimes, but it's always worth it a;o).......
Ladydi, isn't it nice when "My Son" helps out :o).....At this moment he is doing something to my TV (it better work when he is done or he becomes his "Fathers Son" Ginny

Hi Ginny, I have 3 iron skillets that I like to cook in. Those fries make me hungry! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! blessings, Kathleen
