We both have been waiting for it's delivery...I think it got here pretty quick, we both have been anxious for it's arrival! The Giver and the Receiver :o)
I've been watching for the mailman every day since I knew it was coming! The day has finally arrived....here it is..Now to open it up like it's Christmas morning !
Oh Ginny, I am just so glad it got to you. The cotton looks so terribly dirty in the picture, making me wish I had cleaned, but you would still be waiting on it. Just the little bit I spinned with my hand took a while to get seeds and debris out. Thank you for being such a sweet friend. I cherish our "farm talks"....we have a common thread. Don't work yourself too much on the cotton, I can't wait to see what it looks like spinned into yarn! blessings, Kathleen from Eggs in my Pocket and Yeasteryear Embroideries
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you post a picture of whats inside.
ReplyDeleteOpps you did
ReplyDeleteI love the pretties in the box. How fun! How are you planning to spin the cotton. You know you can weave with it.
ReplyDeleteKathleen, don't fret about the debris, I'm getting a good education about cotton that I didn't find in a book! it's all so fascinating to me(for now anyway:o)
ReplyDeleteDeborah, it will be a while before I can spin with it...and yes, I do know I can weave with it also..I'm weaving with some Sugar and Cream now....this cotton will be for something special...Ginny
Just dropped by to wish you a merry Christmas and many blessings for the new year! blessings, Kathleen
