the right side of the Peony Row you can see the Persimmon tree did live ..I don't see any buds for fruit ..I think it might still be too young to bear fruit...hope I'm here to enjoy some of it...
The "Day Lillie's" haven't bloomed as yet...in this yard there is always "waiting" for something to bloom...so by the time they all do ...the season is finished and the Fall begins :o(
I just love big fat peonies! It will be so fun to see your bouquet. They get so beaten down when it rains that you may as well bring in a nice big bouquet.
ReplyDeleteYour right about that ...and it's all so disappointing to wait so long for them and then have the rain destroy them with a shower, but we need the rain...Ginny
ReplyDeletePeonies are so pretty, but they don't do well for me. I think it is too hot for them here. Do you make jam out of your persimmems? blessings,Kathlen
ReplyDeleteI love peonies. It is wonderful to be able to bring a big bouquet of them into the house and smell their fragrance too. Just lovely, Ginny! :D
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the compliments about the peony's...and Kathleen I haven't made Persimmon anything yet :o( ...when I buy them I eat them all up so fast :o)...Hope I see this tree bloom abountantly, then we will see what I can make.
