Sale of Looms

Since my health isn't what it used to be and my knee's have started acting like they belong to someone else..I've decided to sell my "Nilus Laclerc" floor loom, the knee action is just to much for me...I've decided to put an ad on Craigslist in NC for it  in Arts and Crafts..heres the link
http://greensboro.craigslist.org/art/2664980284.html Update: This loom is no longer available for sale..I do have a Triangle loom that I will put up for sale soon..

Side view and front view The loom is in perfect shape and I added some loops to make the change over for each project easier.

  1. Miss Ginny, I wish you a quick and trouble-free sale. I also wish I had someplace to put it! VBG

  2. Melodye,
I appreciate your wish :o) I hate like hell selling it, but my right knee is painful just walking and right now surgery is out of the question. gotta get the heart in shape first :o) I'd rather someone be able to enjoy it, than just let it sit..

  3. Look how much more room you'll have for something else!

  4. Aw Ginny, I imagine that was a tough decision. Sometimes I wonder if I should have gotten my Glimakra; that countermarche tying up isn't so easy these days. Not that I'm weaving these days with so much to do on the house and garden. :)

this one does take up a lot of room..bending my knees is not the ideal thing for me these days :o( I don't need the surgery until the heart (calcium blockage) is better.

it was a very tough decision to make but it had to be made. It can be replaced with other hobbies not so taxing on my knees..the garden kept me very busy this year with good results and looks like the fall garden will be doing the same...Thank goodness I have that little orange stool I paid two bucks for at a yard sale :o)
