Candied Sweet Potatoes to freeze ;o)

Sweet Potato, Sweet Potato ,Sweet Potato and more! These two pans will go into the freezer for another time. I was surprised at how quickly it was done, l peeled, chopped and then seasoned them up. Wrapped them with Tin foil and into the oven at 350* I think that's my favorite cooking temperature for most foods. I'm not finished with Sweet potatoes yet! I still have more that will become Pies and the rest will be eaten slowly. Maybe today I'll have one baked with lamb chops for dinner, and maybe I'll make a small pan of candied for the weekend. I can't complain about sweet potatoes this year.:o)

  1. Oh those look so good, Ginny! Yum! I like them candied or whipped the best, but they are delicious so many ways. :)

  3. Hey GInny, could sure use some of those with today's turkey :-) I plan to boil a few, mash them, season and then put in the oven. Your look good to eat right now and sure they are! I made a pecan pie yesterday so maybe we should trade?

  4. Yey Beatrice, that pecan pie sounds good to me! If we were close enough a trade would be in order :o) Your sweet potatoes would have survived without mashing them like I did in the picture...just add your seasoning to the raw potatoes, cover them up and sit back and relax until they are done (don't forget to add flour or the Argo for the gravy to it :o) ginny
