Cotton Seeds from Project

Besides a few cotton bolls and twigs, this is all the waste from the Cotton project thus far....there are 2 1/4 pounds of seeds which really isn't waste, I think there are enough seeds to plant a couple of acres of Cotton :o)..maybe my
"Almost an Acre Farm" will house some of them :o)...I wouldn't mind sharing them if anyone is interested.

You are truly amazing! I've had my cotton sitting around for years because I haven't yet found the fortitude to do what you have done.

Seasons Greetings Ginny!

Great photo of the cotton "leftovers" !

Cleaning the cotton looks like a labor intensive process...but one that you are probably learning a lot from ;-)

Cyndy it's amazing how much thought I've given stripping the cotton from the seeds...Like what came first the cotton or the seeds? :o) So many thoughts of what else is here on Earth I can discover more about...infinite!

Very interesting. When you have 2 1/4 pounds of seeds, how many pounds of cotton do you have? I'm so glad you are sharing all this with us. It is truly fascinating. As a lover of fabric, especially COTTON fabric, it is good to see its origins. :>}

Ladydi, I have approx 1 3/4 pounds of cotton, my food scale is pretty accurate, I weigh my greens with it.
That was a lot of work for the amount of pounds, but I should be able to make something nice from it. My friend Jilly sent me a knit shawl pattern I might use for it. I can make it any shoulder or full length size which would be good. Ginny
