" Open Letter to Jilly"

Dearest Friend Jilly,
we have been together on cyberspace for many a year (I think since 1990)...and we both know when "you know who" gets on our nerves :o) and we both know where the bones are buried :o)
I just wanted to take the time and publicly thank you for your patience during my illness...of holding back telephone calls and writing long emails , knowing I was still to weak to respond to either...
Just knowing you were "There" has been a great feeling..When I'm feeling better we will talk about all those things that nobody knows but us :o)..in the meantime , get into something so you can tell me all about it :o)...I need a laugh like crazy...
That's my blog for today...

Well, now that I've stopped crying, I can say "Thank You".

I don't think anyone can have any idea what special friends we are and how much I've missed you while you were going through this "hard patch".

We have lots of stories, laughs, ideas, projects, complaints and whining to share in the days, weeks and years to come, dear friend, so keep getting better.

I'm beginning to see what a blessing a "Friend" can be..especially those that are not right in front of your face...
Like the garbage being put out front...and finding out it was done by 10 year old kids .(sniffling softly)...and neighbors offering their help in many ways..
I've been crying all day blessing each and every one of them..I better take a Valium before I start shouting all over this place...Ginny

Ginny, you just take good care of yourself and get your rest....by the way....the cotton fields are in full bloom and it looks like a bumper crop this year!! Don't worry, I wont be sending you a bale like I did last year! LOL. Hope this finds you doing better, blessings,Kathleen

Not every smile is behind a friend!
We have found some Cheshire cats along this way to healing :o( how surprising, and found some friends we didn't know we had....Makes me think more about my actions..
Kathleen, no cotton this year,I still haven't worked what I have, but as soon as I'm able I hope to get to it...Ginny
