Blueberry Cobble for a stormy weekend!

Today is a lazy kind of day waiting to see and hear from the T.V. what Irene has done to the East coast in her fury.  Meanwhile, we put things away from danger as best we could for the time being..
Still have to get the laundry done, (praying we don't lose electricity, still have to cook a meal, and glad that the  weather surroundings are allowing me to do so. In the midst of it I decided to make a Blueberry Cobbler, when it's cooler the proof will be in the taste :o) These were some of the berries we picked at a farm not more than five minutes away from our home :o) . I'm smiles all over and hope to do the same next year. I hope people take the precautions that are being broadcasted  for their own benefits. That's my weekend. Waiting to hear from one that they are safe.UPDATE: Heard from one that they are safe..I don't care how old they get, they are still your "kids", and you never stop worrying about them.

Oh boy Ginny that looks good! I made a peach cobbler a couple of weeks ago and it was wonderful! I was planning to go to the farm this weekend to get peaches and pears to can. But, I guess that's out of the question now! Hopefully they winds won't be too bad and I will be able to get some later this week.

Stay safe and enjoy your cobbler!

Stay safe, Miss Ginny. Last time you made cobbler it looked so good I made some, too. This time I'm making blueberry pancakes. Mmmm.

Mrs Pickles, don't put a scoop of ice cream with it , you'll be hooked and the next thing I hear you'll be growing blueberries :o)

Daisy, I'm trying to be good with just one scoop of ice cream on a dish of cobbler..sometimes I say to heck with the B/S then I pray a lot :o)

Robin, I didn't get to make it with peaches this year, but when I use my Pears, you can't tell much difference :o) I hope you can get some peaches..since you've canned everything else :o). Buy a tree for the yard, this way next year you won't have to go far :o)

Eggs in My Pocket, thanks for your prayers. seems we are all in need of them too.You be safe too.

Ladydi, I'm staying safe indoors, doing chores like laundry and cooking..makes the time tick away.. Blueberry pancakes sounds good to me, that might be me on your doorstep with a glass of milk and a plate..with a big smile on my face :o)

Ginny, I didn't realize you were in the path of the storm. Heck, you should have hopped a plane and come out west with me! We could have raised our very own storm, the two of us LOL! Stay safe, dear friend.

Annie's Granny, yeah! you probably needed some help canning and thought you'd put this poor soul to work.
Ain't it enough I have to work with that kraut tomorrow. It's really stinking up now..and the four weeks are up..that better be some good stuff.
