Champion Juicer Detachable Motor Cord Needed.

Just in case you see this somewhere on the internet or in one of your cluttered drawers :o) let me know about it. One company (Gourmet Depot) claims to have it on backorder..(that could take more months than I want them to hold my money). The company that made my Champion claims it is now not available :o(...also anything before 1975 mine was bought 1973 :o(   There are a lot of parts still available on EBAY, just not the detachable cord. I'll just do as Daisy suggested..wrap the frayed parts with electrical tape, until I can do better...

Kathleen, I'm still looking in on EBAY, but I haven't had much luck with just the detachable motor cord only..

Hmmmm, I'd think someone would be able to use those existing ends and wire a new cord in between them. Send for EG!

Ginny see if you can find a shop that sells electrical supplies they ususally carry all kinds of stuff and may possibly have a cord that will work. Take the old cord with you for them to match up. Hope this helps.

Ginny, I hope you can find a replacement for it somewhere. It would be safer to do that. Good luck.

Annie's Granny, :o) I'm sure EG could hook up something, he's a good inventor.

Mama Bug. I'll have to take that cord with me so they can see what I'm talking about..I don't want them to give me something that "might work".

Daisy, there is got to be a replacement somewhere, and I'll just keep trying until I find it (or something :o)..

I came to your blog from Eggs in my Pocket, and found it to be very interesting. You are one busy lady, with all the canning and freezing you do. Those pears look wonderful! I'd like to be your neighbor. :)

What lengths a person will go to for a good juicer! Yours sounds like a keeper.

lil red hen, yep! this time of year I'm very busy with the harvest from my "Almost an Acre" farm :o)

Jody, my juicer is worth it's weight in how it gets my work done quickly and neatly..there has got to be a detachable cord some where out there.

Hi there! I am in the same situation - need to repair the cord on a 1971 Champion. Both ends are good, but there is damage in the middle. If EG's repair did the trick for you, do you have his email?

Thanks!

Hello! I'm in the same predicament - need repair on an old Champion cord like this. The ends are good, but the middle cord has been crushed. If EG's repair did the trick for you, could you send me his email?

Thanks!
