This is the BESTEST Bowl of Tomato Soup EVER! :o)

I just couldn't resist showing you this "First"
bowl of Tomato Soup made "my way" that was breakfast this morning with Rye toast.I was so excited I forgot to show the toast too :o( ... Let me tell you Campbell's has nothing on me. :o)  This was the best bowl of Tomato soup I've ever had. Of course I didn't measure out my spices, I just went with the "Mommy flow" :o)  you know what that is, we just think about adding this or that to the pot and it isn't repeated the next time :o). I can guarantee that this won't be the last time I attempt making my own Tomato Soup my way. Remember the pint size jars I just put up..next time it will be quarts..Cecil was as excited as I was and got a second helping real quick ( I'm a slower eater). ..I may have an update later today.. I don't know what I'll get myself involved in...but this bowl of soup got me so excited I wanted to share.

Ohiofarmgirl, it seems these are the busy tomato times :o)..My garden didn't do as well as I expected, but my neighbors have been bringing and sending me tomatoes like no tomorrow..and I'm putting them to good use :o).

Yum Yum! We want to make your soup too. It's delicious. Please post your recipe. I know you said you can't remember the spices you threw in, but can you give us the basics, lol. I'm picturing myself with a bowl of tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich on a cold, snowy day.

Mrs Pickles. thanks that soup was good, I'm on to the next pot :o)

rmgales, I'll post the ingredients that I used for the soup and everyone can use the amounts they think is appropriate for them.

Daisy, I tried to save some for anyone that dropped by but Cecil had his second helping (twice as much as the first :o)

Shaheem, always tell the truth, it only hurts for a little while :o)

Annie's Granny, I'll be making another pot and another as long as the tomatoes keep coming in or I get to take the ones out of the freezer to can up into soup :o) I'll post the ingredients I use.

Mr H. You tell Um! :o) I'll be making my own from now on.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who eats lunch food for breakfast. (But I don't eat soup in August ever - too hot)

Ladydi,
sometimes I eat breakfast food for dinner (sausage and grits) :o) and sometimes I eat dinner food for breakfast :o) (corn bread and greens).
I will eat a bowl of chicken or tomato soup any time of the year or day I feel like it and I'll wear Purple when ever I please because I'm old enough to do it. (so there).
