No Rest for the Weary

I thought I would be able to rest after all the peeling , cooking , jarring up peaches and pears..and making cobblers.but the peaches saved for just eating ripened quicker than I thought and rather than lose them I was forced into making another Cobbler hehehe If you believe that I've got a Bridge I want to sell you :o).
Well , for one thing ...that Stevia works like a charm for a natural sweetener and adding some Cornstarch to the juice thickens it up nicely...I had forgotten about Cornstarch until I was reminded by a viewer,Jilly...If you can get a close up of this picture..it will make you hungry and you can see the Peaches and Pears, I'm gaining weight just looking at it.Now I've got to make some labels to let me know which is which with Stevia or Sugar....

Oh, happy day! A neighbor just brought me a big bag of peaches and nectarine. Guess we'll be having cobbler at our house, too. Haven't picked up any Stevia, yet, so will use sugar for the fist cobbler and hope to get Stevia for the next one.

I just found your blog page from Eggs in my Pocket. You reminded me to get peaches before they are gone. I enjoy canning peaches, and making preserves. I'll be back.

Jillied,
you will love Stevia, I've had decaffeinated coffee this morning with it and it's the first cup of coffee I've had in awhile thanks to Stevia.....

Ginny, you're a busy gal! Sounds like you didn't need your arm twisted too far to make another cobbler. It sure looks delicious. :D
