Ginny glad to see you back and that your toe is better. Goodwill is a regular stop for me. I've gotten many of my serving dishes there.
Hi, Sweetie Pie!I think you need to take your new lamp to a lamp store (not a hardware store or all purpose store) and find out what bulbs you need. There is a huge chance of a fire if you don't use the right bulbs. That happened to a neighbor..luckily, they were home and caught it before any real damage was done. The lamp looks great and I know you're going to get a lot of use out of it..after you get the right bulbs.xoxoxoguess who?????
Light is a marvelous thing for weaving, isn't it. I can't wait to see your next weaving project. I like that we are learning together. It makes it more fun.
Does the 150 x 2 mean it's one of those two way bulbs where you click it once for regular light and the second time for brighter light?
Melodye, I cut my teeth on "second hand shopping" I have a good eye for a bargain that now serves me well.:o)Ladydi, I have no idea which way is correct...I've assumed it means no more than 2 bulbs of 150 watts each....so I used 2 that was 100 watts each...I did notice that it clicks twice, but with two bulbs both light up at the same time.I only use the lights when I'm working on the loom, so I'll be on top of any problems with it...I have a keen sense of smell, gas, wire burning etc. so chances I'm not taking....Ginny
