Two sockets under lamp says 150X2

Nobody had bulbs that said that....
and the first bulbs I had I took back...they still hung out too far down and didn't give off enough light....

Ginny glad to see you back and that your toe is better. Goodwill is a regular stop for me. I've gotten many of my serving dishes there.

Hi, Sweetie Pie!
I think you need to take your new lamp to a lamp store (not a hardware store or all purpose store) and find out what bulbs you need. There is a huge chance of a fire if you don't use the right bulbs. That happened to a neighbor..luckily, they were home and caught it before any real damage was done. The lamp looks great and I know you're going to get a lot of use out of it..after you get the right bulbs.

xoxoxo
guess who?????

Light is a marvelous thing for weaving, isn't it. I can't wait to see your next weaving project. I like that we are learning together. It makes it more fun.

Does the 150 x 2 mean it's one of those two way bulbs where you click it once for regular light and the second time for brighter light?

Melodye, I cut my teeth on "second hand shopping" I have a good eye for a bargain that now serves me well.:o)
Ladydi, I have no idea which way is correct...I've assumed it means no more than 2 bulbs of 150 watts each....so I used 2 that was 100 watts each...I did notice that it clicks twice, but with two bulbs both light up at the same time.
I only use the lights when I'm working on the loom, so I'll be on top of any problems with it...I have a keen sense of smell, gas, wire burning etc. so chances I'm not taking....Ginny
