I don't think I'd do as good a job carving it as I would eating it :o)...what to make first soup or pie...and don't forget to save the seeds :o)

Oh my! Don't waste that beautiful pumpkin carving it. There's way too much good eating there. My doc says pumpkin is one of the good super foods!

I agree, the heck with the decorations it's better to eat it and remember the joy of it :o)..instead of letting it rot with decorating.

Mr. H.
I'll save you a whole pie :o) Hurry before Cecil gets to it .

Pumpkin pie, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin cake, pumpkin cookies. . . mmm. Did you grow it?

What a pretty pumpkin. I'm so disappointed that none of mine grew. Soup and pie sound fabulous (I agree it's for food!)

BTW, I put those persimmons through my Foley, in smaller amounts and have had better luck. The native type are small, so it's a tedious job. Hopefully Dan will like persimmons!

Ladydi,
that's a lot of good ideas for my little pumpkin :o) your making me think I need another one :o).

Leigh,
I'm going to try saving some seeds from it too..or maybe roast some :o) Saving the seeds and planting them doesn't guarantee me pumpkins either :o)..sometimes you just have to try, that's the only thing that beats a failure :o)..Take your time with the native ones..at least it's a free gift :o)
