Cecil makes breakfast

This morning I was treated to Breakfast like the Queen I am (that sounds better than the Lady of the house :o) I don't know what I did or said that got me that treat , I'd like to do it again  or say it again (and again :o). it was delicious , your looking at cheese and eggs, 2 slices of bacon, rye toast, and the famous "Pear Butter" that Cecil has been eating up like crazy..maybe he is giving me a hint that we are running out of it...it is so tasty I can see why he eats it with everything and even plain :o)  Thank goodness we have a Pear tree and I put fruit in the freezer..I can easily make more..
In other news, I decided not to sell my loom, yesterday I re -dressed it with a project I started long ago and I was surprised at how content I felt working on the loom (all day and until 9pm) I was surprised at myself ,the only thing was my back hurt after a bit..but it hurts when I do the gardening too...so what do I do about that..when You can't make up your mind which way to go. "Stay Still" < that's what my Mother always said and I found it to be a good solution,(for everything). I did have a lady come to see it and remarked "I'll think about it"   I thought about it too :o) and decided..for now..I'll keep it...it's a very nice looking loom and maybe once the old Heart is reamed I'll have more energy. Yesterday was a very good day for me.

I think that The Queen deserves a grand breakfast like this every morning! I wonder what This Queen needs to do to get one :)

I like the sound of that breakfast. That pear butter sounds good! I'm glad you kept your loom and that you have no ill effects from working on it. Enjoy!

That was so sweet of Cecil! Please post a photo of your project on the loom; I'm dying of curiosity! Cooked a pot of home grown collards and a pot of baby limas with ham today! The collards are for Thanksgiving and the beans and some fresh hot cornbread are for supper tonight!

You are just wonderful! I love the advice your mother gave you " just be still". I'm going to have to remember that. Breakfast looks yummy! And please, if you get a moment post pics of your project on the loom. Have a great weekend.

Robin,
I wish I could tell you :o) I've been thinking maybe the King did something and is trying to make up before I find out :o(

Mrs Pickles,
it was a good feeling working on the loom in the nice cozy warm room in my jammies :o)

Daisy
thanks for the wishes, I'm trying to enjoy them one by one. Cecil can be a sweetheart sometimes, then he can be a pain in the butt just as often :o)

Melodye
it was delicious and made a big fuss over it so he would do it again :o) That pear butter is delicious and it's pretty easy to do. My back felt the strain , but a couple of Aleve's and I'm good to go.sometimes it works faster than others.

Mama Bug,
it will be a while before I post the project, but I'll show how far I got.. Whew! Mama, homegrown collards, and hot corn bread whoopee :o) that made me holler. I had some lima beans Saturday..I like cooking something easy on Saturdays.

Leigh,
your absolutely right about the satisfactory feelings you have once you have made something with your own hands. I'm glad I decided to give it a go again, and made out pretty good. :o)

Ohiofarmgirl,
it sure is nice and toasty in here since the new heater. I'm loving every minute being in here..now I really need to clean this place up or put things in special spots, I can't find a darn thing :o)

Leigh,
I'm glad to give it a go once more..watching the internet and reading cleared up a lot of things for me..I'm still going to take my time with this old but new again project.
