UnHappy about Weave Colors :o(

I'm very unhappy about how the colors of this towel is looking :o(...I think the "tabby"
color (white) takes away the "Burgundy" and the "Blue" color there is just too much white :o(... I'm going to have to try something else to make the colors show up more vivid
maybe I don't need the "tabby" I'm going to leave it alone fro the rest of the night..I'm going to try something else tomorrow maybe no tabby?
Feel free to jump in here with some advice!
I'm not seeing much of my pattern either..( I keep getting off track as to where I'm at :o(
I need a better system, but I'm learning much with this one :o)  Tomorrow, tomorrow, there's always Tomorrow :o)

I don't know how to weave, Ginny, so I can't offer any advice. I think it looks nice! I like the colors, but I hope you get it worked out so it looks the way you want it to.

Hmmm I think the white makes the colors pop. I think it looks pretty great.

How much warp did you put on? Remember the weavers' mantra, "sample, sample, sample!" OK, you can give me a swift kick because I recommended the white tabby in the first place, LOL. I'd either weave it out as is, just to see how it turned out after washing. Then do two more, one with blue tabby & one with burgundy; 5hat would give you a coordinating set of three. Or, go for a striped effect by sampling in equal bands using the other colors for tabby. It would probably look more plaidish after washing. The key is you are learning! That's half the fun isn't it (she says hopefully)

Daisy,
that's okay that you can't offer advice, it's a comfort knowing you care :o)

Mrs Pickles,
your just a fabric lover who looks for colors that makes things POP! especially being a quilter LOL :o)

Leigh,
I have enough warp to sample sample :o( and then maybe get one towel :o(, but the key is that I am learning .. it's not fun yet :o( it's more like disappointment , I was so sure I was on my way..guess this is one of the bumps in the road :o(

Miss Ginny, you get LOTS of points for persevering when less intrepid souls would just give up. I like the muted effect, but do see what you mean. When you put that much work into it, you want it to be a masterpiece.

Ladydi,
I appreciate the points, but I'd rather know what I'm doing so I can get it like Iike intended to be. I'm going to keep at it, even if the whole thing just turns out to be another Lesson :o(
